Achieving your fitness goals - There are no impossible dreams...

 

fitness goalsThere are no impossible dreams, just our limited perception of what is possible.

Imagine for a second that we did not spend any time focusing on our perceived limitations.  What would we dare to do?  Who would we dare to be?  Where would we focus our attention?

If we step back for a second and replay our internal dialogue we usually find ourselves describing what we aren't, what we don't want to do or be, and what we cannot do rather than focusing on all of our really great qualities and building from there.

I believe that is applicable in all aspects of our lives - personal, business, relationships, athletics - name it and it applies because fundamentally we are simply saying "I/We are going to recognize what's good about us, use our creative energy, and build something really great from there."  Dr. Wayne Dyer says "we have to believe it before we see it".

Remember that we will always be most successful at what we focus on, usually at the expense of other things, so if you spend all your time building, creating, exuding great energy, focusing on all the gifts you have been given and the opportunites that are in front of you you will do so at the expense of negativity, poor judgement, feelings of inadaquecy, and fear.  Imagine getting up each and every day with a sense of purpose and knowing that you are investing your life rather than spending it.

It is what I look forward to at Aurora Womens Fitness: helping contribute to a business that combines all the great elements of our people (member/athletes and team members), our facility, and our programs that together create a collective energy and spirit that is a force for positive change in our world.
